I was at Sony Showroom today and i saw the excellent image quality of the new Sony LCD TVs with HD. The results were so amazing that it hurts the eye with the detail.s. Also. more importantly, it takes away the surreal effect which u usually get in a movie as it gets too real.

I am still thinking what would happen when things get super sharp? Special Effects people have to up their notch and actors/ actress have to appear doubly good. What would the viewers feel? Would they be able to connect more with the actors because of the enhanced realism.. or would they lose touch with them as people always like to live in a dream-like world (thats why we go to the movies... ).
